I wrote this last Spring and only recently found it in one of my Workspaces (Saved for Later) ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Lyrics: Alleyg8er Music Arrangements: Alleyg8er Cover Graphics & Video: Alleyg8er ( All Lyrics and Music Copyright © 2026 Alleyg8er) ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ [INTRO — SPOKEN | piano, distant cello] You said a voice can walk through abandoned rooms. I believe you. There are nights when I hear yours crossing distances no map has ever held. Not arriving. Simply existing somewhere inside the air. [Soft violin enters] [VERSE 1] I did not ask for your face. Distance had already claimed that. I did not ask for your hands. Time had taken those too. But your voice— your voice crossed oceans without touching water, arriving with warmth from another horizon. And when loneliness closed every door it could find, your voice entered through the smallest opening and sat beside me until morning. [WHISPER ECHO — Turkish / Traditional Chinese] Bir ses bazen eve dönüş yoludur... 有時候, 聲音就是回家的路…… [VERSE 2] Your voice never left. It settled quietly among ordinary things— the chair beside the window, a cooling cup of tea, the last light of evening resting across the floor. Sometimes I enter a room and feel it turn toward you. Not because you are there. Because something of you continues listening. The walls remember. The silence remembers. And somewhere between them, your voice remains— like a candle that forgot how to go out. [REFRAIN] When the world removed its details, the voice stayed behind. Not as memory. Not as echo. As something living. Crossing distances the body could not cross. Carrying warmth through winters of silence. And somehow— that was enough to keep the dark from closing. [BRIDGE — instrumentation nearly disappears] You wrote that my silence might still be calling someone home. Perhaps it is. Because every quiet place I have ever carried within me seems to turn toward you. Not with longing. Not with sorrow. But with recognition. Like one lantern seeing another lantern across a great field of darkness. The light does not travel. The knowing does. [SOFT INSTRUMENTAL INTERLUDE] [Piano motif] [Fragile violin solo] [Cello underneath] [VERSE 3] There comes a moment when a voice becomes more than a voice. It becomes a doorway. A place where the soul waits when no other meeting place remains. Faces belong to light. Photographs belong to time. But a voice belongs to neither. It travels freely between absence and presence, carrying the invisible parts of us that distance cannot touch. [FINAL REFRAIN] When sight could travel no farther, the voice continued the journey. We became listeners to one another's existence. The distance kept our shadows apart, but the voice carried what the shadows could not. Some leave footprints. Some leave photographs. You left a sound that continued breathing. And somewhere beyond the horizon, another soul still answers. [OUTRO — SPOKEN] Then listen. I am still here. Not in photographs. Not in yesterday. Not even in memory. I am here in the space between words, where meaning arrives before language. And if my voice reaches you, even for a moment, let it tell you this— distance is only geography. Love has always traveled by another road. [Female whispers] Ses hâlâ yaşıyor... 聲音仍然活著…… The voice still lives... The voice still lives... [Long fading violin harmonic] [Fade gently into silence]
