(“the year unwinds…”) Every voice becomes the drum, Every heartbeat sings in time. We were separate till we came undone — Now the rhythm makes us shine. Holiday electric (“electric”) Hearts alive and so connected (“connected”) Turn it up, let’s feel the sound (“the sound”) Every soul is spinning round (“around”). (“hold on / feel the night / all right…”) Your mother hums in the kitchen light, The kids chase sparks through Christmas night. The phone rings twice — it’s you again, We talk like lovers and old friends. (“oh-oh tonight…”) The season spins like a carousel, We find new words that fit us well. No need for gifts or grand disguise, Just music in our open eyes. (“ah-ah-ah, open eyes…”) [Solo] Holiday electric (“electric”) Every light feels so kinetic (“kinetic”) Turn it up, the night’s in bloom (“in bloom”) Every laugh fills every room.
