[Verse] The room is still the air is thin Hearts are heavy weighed by sin We wait in prayer we call Your name For holy fire to fan the flame [Chorus] Oh Spirit come oh Spirit near Break the silence shatter fear With tongues of fire ignite the heart Your mighty power set us apart [Verse 2] The promise lingers yet unseen A whispered hope where none have been We stand in faith we will not tire For You will send Your promised fire [Chorus] Oh Spirit come oh Spirit near Break the silence shatter fear With tongues of fire ignite each heart With mighty power set us apart [Bridge] The wind will rise the flame will spread The sleeping souls will wake from dread We’ll lift the name of Christ on high As glory fills both earth and sky [Verse 3] We’re waiting Lord for holy light To pierce the darkness of our night In every heart let glory reign Till all the world proclaims Your name
