# WEEKEND CALLING **[Intro]** Ooh, yeah Sun going down, but we're just getting started I hear it... Weekend calling **[Verse 1]** Five o'clock and I'm already gone, Fresh little dress and my favourite song. Sun still high with the roof rolled back, Girls in the car and we're laughing like that. Whole week long I've been waiting on this, Warm night air with a summertime kiss. No reservations, wherever we land, Tonight's looking better than anything planned. **[Pre-Chorus]** I can feel it in the air tonight, Something 'bout the way the city shines. Turn it up, don't wanna waste no time, 'Cause I know, I know... **[Chorus]** **Weekend calling, calling my name,** Sunset falling, we're out again. Hands in the sky when the bassline drops, Don't want this feeling to ever stop. **Weekend calling, calling my name,** Hot nights, good vibes, do it again. From the rooftop down to the festival lights, We got all summer, we're owning tonight. **[Post-Chorus / Drop]** Weekend— Weekend calling... *(Bass drop)* Ooh, I hear it calling... Weekend calling! **[Verse 2]** Two-step moving with a drink in my hand, DJ knows what we came here to dance. Someone's singing every word too loud, Don't even know them, they're part of us now. Phone full of pictures we'll laugh at next week, Glitter on shoulders, sand on our feet. Nobody asking what happens from here, Right now's the only thing that matters, my dear. **[Bridge / Breakdown]** Monday can wait... Tuesday can wait... Right now I'm exactly where I wanna be. Sun on my face... Music for days... One more summer memory. **[Build]** Can you hear it? Can you hear it? Calling... Calling... **[FINAL DROP / CHORUS]** **WEEKEND CALLING, CALLING MY NAME!** Sunset falling, we're out again. Hands in the sky when the bassline drops, Don't want this feeling to ever stop. **Weekend calling, calling my name,** Hot nights, good vibes, do it again. From the rooftop down to the festival lights, We got all summer— **We're owning tonight.** **[Outro]** Weekend calling... Ooh, I hear it calling... Weekend calling... See you when the sun comes up.
