Here's to a Year (that sucks much less)

[Verse 1] (Been counting days till the year packs up Tired of gloom in my coffee cup I see the skyline shining bright Welcoming dreams in a brand-new light) [Chorus] (We made it through the worst somehow Close the door on sorrow now Tomorrow’s dawn might fix the mess Here’s to a year that sucks much less) [Verse 2] (The neon streets once felt so grey I prayed for hope to light the way Suddenly, I sense a spark Chasing out the midnight dark) [Chorus] (We made it through the worst somehow Close the door on sorrow now Tomorrow’s dawn might fix the mess Here’s to a year that sucks much less) [Break] [Chorus] (We made it through the stormy days Ready now for bright new rays Hear that hopeful heartbeat press Here’s to a year that sucks much less) [Outro] (Let the city hum its victory song As the last year’s tears are all but gone One step forward, no regrets Here’s to a year that sucks much less)
