[Intro] [Verse] In the town square is were they killed her Hanged by the neck, until dead. The children threw stones at her body And laughed when one hit her head She was given a trial, of course One that determined her fate long before Her protestations and lamentations Did nothing to stop the mock-court Now in the dreaded dead of night deep Her curse will come to them in their sleep [Chorus] The Dead Witch! You brought her curse! The Dead Witch! Who will be First? Death and darkness will now descend Upon those that brought her end The Dead Witch! Her pale eyes stare! The Dead Witch Hell's now here! In the morn, those still alive awake To find there are missing ones Missing wives and daughters Missing husbands and sons Search as they will they find them not Yet soon they hear a sound A screaming of deathly rage erupts All throughout the town Now they can see with their own hollow eyes As their loved ones come forth, now dead yet still alive [Guitar Solo] [Chorus] The Dead Witch! You brought her curse! The Dead Witch! Who will be First? Death and darkness will now descend Upon those that brought her end The Dead Witch! Her pale eyes stare! The Dead Witch Hell's now here! [Bridge] Now the dead attack, and the townsfolk are devoured They scream as their own flesh define their final hour The witch's corpse slowly sways in the gentle breeze While the curse she unleashed, kills everyone with ease [Chorus] The Dead Witch! You brought her curse! The Dead Witch! Who will be First? Death and darkness will now descend Upon those that brought her end The Dead Witch! Her pale eyes stare! The Dead Witch Hell's now here! The Dead Witch! (AAAhhhhhh!) The Dead Witch! [Outro]
