V4.5-ALL

The Scribe of the Frozen Stars (Tempo: Adagio, building to a frantic Allegro. Heavy, rhythmic cello pulses lay the foundation.) [Intro]: (A lonely, weeping violin melody, strained and high-pitched. Slowly, the low brass enters, vibrating the floorboards of the silence.) [Verse 1] Upon the vellum forged of nebulas and light I trace the geometry of the endless, sunless night My quill is a splinter from a fallen comet’s bone Writing the epitaph of realms that I have known Ink of silver frost, bleeding on the parchment sky Where constellations wither and the ancient spirits die. [Pre-Chorus] [Crescendo]: (The orchestral strings begin a rapid, frantic tremolo. The choir enters in a low, chant-like hum.) The ink is cold as iron, the page is born of glass I count the eons shiver as the frozen aeons pass Recording every collapse, every dying spark A scribe to the hollow, a tether to the dark. [Chorus] [Full Orchestral Explosion]: (Power chords on distorted seven-string guitars merge with the thunder of timpani and the soaring, operatic soprano of the choir.) Oh, behold the Scribe of the Frozen Stars! Etching the wreckage of celestial scars! With a voice like a blizzard, a pen made of void Singing the dirge for the worlds we destroyed! Rise, constellations! Fall into the ink! We stand at the edge of the ultimate brink! [Verse 2] (Music breaks down to a haunting, solo cello and whispered vocals, layered with gothic reverb.) I see the Orion shivering, turning to gray I see the pulse of the pulsar fading away The cosmic architecture, crumbling in my grip As the celestial anchor begins to slip I write of the silence that waits in the seams The burial ground of a trillion dead dreams. [Bridge] (The choir erupts in a dissonant, operatic staccato. A violin solo cuts through like a razor, frantic and virtuoso, full of expressive, dark ornamentations.) [Choir/Soprano Lead]: Scripta in glacie! (Written in ice!) Scripta in tenebris! (Written in darkness!) The constellations bleed! The parchment begins to tear! There is no light left to spare! (The metal drums kick in with a double-bass flurry, driving the tension to an unbearable peak.) [Chorus] (Maximum Volume: Symphonic Metal wall-of-sound) Oh, behold the Scribe of the Frozen Stars! Etching the wreckage of celestial scars! With a voice like a blizzard, a pen made of void Singing the dirge for the worlds we destroyed! Rise, constellations! Fall into the ink! We stand at the edge of the ultimate brink! [Outro] (The orchestra sustains a massive, dissonant minor chord. The choir fades into a whisper. A single note remains on the violin, descending slowly until it vanishes.) The scroll is full. The starlight is spent. ...The ink is frozen. (Final, heavy cello strike, then silence.)
