Fluffelhug Fair
Lyrics by DragonHug --- It’s here it’s here it’s here it’s here it’s here it’s here it’s here! Fluffelhug Fair is here! We need to get going! Fluffelhug Fair has everything, it never gets boring! There’s a thing with wheels And a thing with hats And a thing that squeaks And a thing that claps There's a thing that flies And a thing that rises And a thing with pies And a thing with prizes And a thing that But where is the fair? And how do you get there? --- No worries, it is an easy task. The fair is everywhere and anywhere. But mostly anywhere. Just go straight ahead, then take a right, then a left, then a right or a left, whatever feels right, or whatever is left. --- Then turn around... and you'll see Fluffelhug Fair! --- Look look look look look! Rides and treats and music and shows and games and friends and this and that and what else? Fluffelhug Fair is here! Ride the rides and eat the treats! Hear the tunes and smell the smells! Lets meet new friends, at Fluffelhug Fair. Fluffelhug Fair is here! --- Where to go first!? That place has music from all over! And that place has treats from all over! And that place has a dragon that flies all over! And look, what's happening over there? It's a big red tent, with a tiny brown sign. Cricket The Illusionist. Let's go inside. Everyone is silent, and the crowd is thick. No one blinks, as they carefully watch the trick. Then Cricket with a quick click, flicks his magical stick on a big red brick. Poof! And the big red brick is now instead... a big brown loaf of bread. Everyone is even more silent than before... But then explodes into laughter, cheers and roars! Cricket bows his tiny head, as the big red curtain falls. --- Nearby, a pasture hums, full of buzz and fuzz. Bumblebees, saddled and as big as sheep, bumbling about without a rush. There's a tall sign. Free Taxbee Service. Below it, a smaller sign. Remember to tip your bee. Below that, an even smaller sign. A pat for a tip is just fine. Almost touching the ground, the smallest sign says, The buzzing might tickle After a wave and a polite hello, an aloof loaf of floof notice you. In no hurry it waddles over. With a low humming purring, the taxbee lets you climb on. There's a steering wheel in front, and both the saddle and bee are soft. The seatbelt hugs your waist and clicks, and you're ready to lift off. --- Then look down, and you'll see Fluffelhug Fair --- Fluffelhug Fair is here... See see... See the shows and wonder at magic (shows and magic) Hear hear Hear the cheers, and the gentle hum (cheers and hum) Feel feel... Feel the warmth, at Fluffelhug Fair! Fluffelhug Fair is here! Fly fly on bees so soft. So much to do and see. Everything and a little bit more. (Fluffelhug Fair is here!) --- From beeback gliding above the fair, lanterns sparkle everywhere. A tall dragon ducks his head, for an otter-operated hot air balloon. Beetles paint the tents and shells. A spider weaves a web around his hedgehog friend’s balloon. Down on the ground, mice and creatures alike, collect treasure and treats. Even the Word-Tree is here. The truth-root, the talk-trunk. The small and the curious are gathered beneath the crown of leaves. Why does Light leave, Word-Tree? a small one squeaks. Oh, Light isn’t really leaving, just getting sleepy. the old tree speaks. Hmm… that reminds me of something I wrote down once. Just a moment, while I turn over my leaves. Ah. Here it is. Long ago there was a warm rock, with Long Snake half-asleep on top. When Light got sleepy too, and the warm turned a bit cool, Long Snake opened his eyes and kindly hissed, would you please stay up a bit longer, Light? Could you maybe try? Light tried to stay up, but could not keep up for long, and then finally sat down. And that is why, when Light gets sleepy, we say twilight. --- Above, a million little lights shine. Below, a million more. Fluffelhug Fair is here...
