So this is a story when I went to Washington University Trade School.

One of the teachers I had there absolutely hated cell phones being in class. The only electronics allowed was computers, and anyone on their phone would be sent out of class.

In normal circumstances I would understand, if it wasn't for the fact that at the time of the story, my laptop screen was broken so I could only use my phone.

I tried to explain this during the classroom break that I couldn't bring my laptop as my screen was broke, but she would not bend to my plea.

It was bring my computer or put it all down long hand.

Challenge Accepted.

So what i did was i bought a separate monitor, HDMI and other wires, along with a power strip, and i made sure that the extension cord was extra long just to go about and reach it all the way across the room.

When I strolled early into class the next day with a suitcase trailing behind me, I set up my makeshift desktop in my space.

LED keyboard and gaming mouse in hand, I had wires string all over the place, making other students walk around me so they can't trip and fall on the obvious hazard.

When the teacher came in the classroom that day she took pause to the sudden behemoth that was in the middle of her class room.

With eyes bulging she couldn't say anything, as I complied to her rules of only having a computer, and worked it to a tee.

All throughout the day, the teacher had to navigate her way around my elaborate desktop setup, you could see the annoyance and frustration on her face.

She had to stop multiple times during the lesson to step over the cord, disrupting the flow of the class, and making it clear that my setup was causing her inconvenience.

The other students couldn't help but laugh at her predicament, while some were annoyed by the interruption.

But in the end all I wanted was to stick it to the teacher for being unreasonable to my plea.

After three days of doing this, the teacher gave way, and finally decided to let me use my phone in class to take notes.
