[Verse 1] Down in Louisiana where the fireflies shine, Pegasus Donkey’s trottin’ in time. Accordion playin’, washboard too, Everybody dancin’ when he trots on through. [Chorus] Giddy up on the bayou, stomp them hooves just right, Dance until the morning, under Cajun moonlight. Accordion’s callin’, let that Zydeco roll, Pegasus Donkey’s got the bayou in his soul. 🎶 [Verse 2] Crawfish boilin’, gumbo in the pot, Donkey’s hooves tappin’, giving all he’s got. Fiddle sawin’, people shout “laissez les bons temps rouler!” He’s the king of Zydeco in his purple parade. [Chorus repeat] [Bridge] Flap them wings, let the rhythm fly, Donkey on the bayou, dancin’ wild tonight. From Lafayette town to the old bayou bend, Pegasus Donkey’s party never ends! [Final Chorus] Giddy up on the bayou, stomp them hooves just right, Dance until the morning, under Cajun moonlight. Accordion’s callin’, let that Zydeco roll, Pegasus Donkey’s got the bayou in his soul! 🎶
