she was a grey hair old lady walking around with a small old dog looked like they both needed a place to rest, a place to lay their heads so, I went up to her, said excuse me ma'am, I don't mean to be rude, or even presume, but maybe you could use a nice place to sit and rest, and she said Well yes, I sure do, me and my old dog blue, we've been walking this here town, looking around, for a place, that we can call home, there's been lots of kind folks, you see, don't get me wrong, but not one of them, noticed that we did like you, she said to me, I was just telling God, he said he would always look after me, anytime that I needed him to, any place that I was, well i told him, I have been waiting, and walking, and looking, she said now God it's time, I need you to give me a sign, and then she said, out of no place you show up, right at the end of my prayer, God must have sent you, he sure knew, I needed you, and my old dog blue, then I invited her to stay with me, for a while, I had an extra room, she'd been walking, and traveling by bus, she came back here to her old hometown, to live out her days we talked for hours, about her life, mmmmmmmm oooooooooo the she said, I sure am feeling worn out, from walking around, and so is old blue, that night she retired early, she needed to rest, her body so weary from stress mmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm later in the night, her old dog blue, passed away in his sleep, oh, what grief she felt. thank God he had a place to lay down his old head, we buried him', under my old apple tree out back, the grave marker said , here lays old blue, he walked a 1000 miles, now he is running in heaven, mmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm oooooooooooooo now it seemed to me she knew, that she would follow him soon, because the very next day, when she went to lay down she went to heaven too, but before she did ,,,, she left me a note, beside her bed, it said this God new I was coming home,, so incase I do I want you to know God sent you, to me,, he knew you were strong,, and you knew what to do, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so before I lay my head down, incase this is for the very last time,, I want to say, I'm sorry, I'm leaving you this way,, no matter what it is you do, remember this one thing, to include old blue , him and I from the start, we were one,,, not two, mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm then she finished the note like this, thank you, for listening to,, that small still voice,, that told you,, me and old blue,,, needed you,,, I'm glad I met you until we meet again, in heaven my friend, ooooooooo mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm with tears in my eyes ,,,,,,, I whisper, I'm glad I met you too,,,,, you and old blue....ooooooooo mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm ooooooooooooooooooooooo
