Another first-place finish! - IJN Shimakaze [AZUR LANE SONG]

[Verse 1] Oops—wait—where did everyone go? I just wanted to prove how fast I can go! Laughing with Heinrich, racing the sea, Now it’s just islands staring back at me. Great job, Shimakaze… number one in mistakes, What would Suruga say about risks I take? [Pre-Chorus] Breathe in, slow down, listen tight, My ears still cut through day and night. South-east thunder—explosions cry— They found my friends… then so did I! [Chorus] Another first-place finish! Hear my heartbeat race the wind! I stumble, I sprint, I fall, I win— But I’ll always rush back in! Another first-place finish! For my friends, I won’t delay! Too fast to stop, too loud to miss— I’m on my way! [Verse 2] There’s New Jersey loading every gun, Laffey dodging shots half-asleep for fun. Heinrich’s laughing straight at Purifier’s face, Guess I picked the perfect time to rejoin the race. I slash, I strike, torpedoes sing, Speed and steel—watch everything sink! [Pre-Chorus 2] I don’t always think, I don’t always wait, But my heart never runs away. If I get lost, I’ll still come through— That’s what I do… that’s what I do! [Final Chorus] Another first-place finish! Bunny Squad’s back on top! I hear the fight, I feel the flow, And I’ll never, ever stop! Another first-place finish! Commander, did you see me fly? Fastest sound beneath the sky— Shimakaze racing by!
