[intro] [female vocal] Don’t try to avoid it, just enjoy it So get on that dancefloor I know you’re eager Start bustin’ those moves Bring on the dance fever [male vocal] Dance fever Dance fever Dance fever [verse 1] [female vocal] It’s been a long day Now you’re out for the night You’ve had a few drinks Everything just feels right You’re at the club You’re having a great time You listen to the music Everything just feels fine [bridge] [male vocal] The music takes control And you feel the dance fever You approach the dancefloor And you start to feel eager [chorus] [female vocal] Dance, dance the night away Dance, dance - FEVER! Grab a partner and begin to sway Feel the music within your soul Let the dance fever be your goal Dance, dance all night long Dance, dance - FEVER! Bust those moves as you sing that song Let the dance fever take control Don’t stop, you’re on a roll [verse 2] [female vocal] It’s after midnight, but it’s only early You slip on the dancefloor, things get curly You’re a bit shaken but still get up Your friend says “sit down you’ve had enough” “No way” you say, that’s not in my nature If you don’t let me dance I’m gonna hate ya Everything’s good, everything’s fine Whatever you do, don’t cross that line [pre-chorus] [male vocal] The music takes control And you feel the dance fever Again you hit the dancefloor No way you’re an early leaver [chorus] [female vocal] Dance, dance the night away Dance, dance - FEVER! Grab a partner and begin to sway Feel the music within your soul Let the dance fever be your goal Dance, dance all night long Dance, dance - FEVER! Bust those moves as you sing that song Let the dance fever take control Don’t stop, you’re on a roll [outro] [female vocal] You didn’t avoid it, and you enjoyed it You got on that dancefloor You were keen and eager You busted those moves You had the dance fever [male vocal] Dance fever Dance fever Dance fever.
