[Verse] Charles the PM He's out the door Shalee's desk is clean No papers on the floor Carla’s got her plans Project notes no more It’s Friday now We’re all keeping score [Prechorus] Accounting’s clocking out Calculators down HR’s closing laptops No more frowns [Chorus] No more invites no more calls No more meetings in these walls The weekend’s free The weekend’s mine Goodbye work It’s Friday time [Verse 2] Shalee’s smile says she’s already gone Charles is humming his weekend song Carla’s out here waving “so long” Open Door’s a ghost town before too long [Bridge] Email inbox? I don’t wanna see Slack notifications? Not for me I’m trading deadlines for a cup of tea It’s Friday Baby I’m finally free [Chorus] No more invites no more calls No more meetings in these walls The weekend’s free The weekend’s mine Goodbye work It’s Friday time
