[Verse 1] David spoke concerning the resurrection, and concerning the mercy of Elohim. For Elohim does not desire the destruction of the work of his hands, but that it should return and live. [Chorus 1] Death shall give up the dead, and Sheol shall give up those who are in it. They shall rise, and they shall live. [Verse 2] For as a man who sleeps awakens from his sleep, so shall those who have died be raised. Their bodies shall be restored, and their souls shall return, and each shall receive according to his works. [Chorus 2] Those who have done righteousness shall enter into life, and those who have done evil shall stand for judgement. Nothing shall be hidden before Elohim. [Bridge] For he knows the works of all, and he knows their thoughts. He knows that which was done in secret, and that which was done openly. [Guitar Solo] [Chorus 3] The righteous shall rejoice, and the merciful shall receive mercy. Those who have kept righteousness shall enter into the kingdom, and death shall have no power over them
