[Title: READY FOR BATTLE] [Intro] [Shield strikes] HO! HO! HO! [Lead] Who goes before us? [Clan] THE LORD! [Lead] Who makes us strong? [Clan] THE LORD! [Verse 1] Northern winds over mountain and sea, We stand in Christ, for He made us free. Shield by shield and hand in hand, Side by side in Christ we stand. Darkness roars and night draws near, He goes before us, why should we fear? Not by our strength, not by our might, We rise in the power of Jesus Christ. [Chorus] READY FOR BATTLE! [Clan] HO! HO! READY FOR BATTLE! [Clan] HO! HO! Shields held high! Let the war drums roll! THE LORD IS WITH US! FORWARD WE GO! [Verse 2] Scars on the body, blood in the snow, Still by His mercy, onward we go. The storm came hard, the cold winds cried, Still we stand with our shields held high. Not ashamed of the Gospel we bear, We carry the good news everywhere. Though all the world may turn away, IN JESUS CHRIST WE STAND TODAY! [Chorus] READY FOR BATTLE! [Clan] HO! HO! READY FOR BATTLE! [Clan] HO! HO! Shields held high! Let the war drums roll! THE LORD IS WITH US! FORWARD WE GO! [Breakdown] [Drums and shields only] [Lead] WHO IS OUR STRENGTH? [Clan] CHRIST! [Lead] WHO IS OUR ROCK? [Clan] CHRIST! [Lead] WHO IS OUR LORD? [Clan] JESUS! [Lead] ARE WE READY? [Clan] READY FOR BATTLE! [Bridge] When the war horn sounds our call, Side by side we face it all. Not for glory, gold or fame, We stand together in His name. [Final Chorus] READY FOR BATTLE! HO! HO! READY FOR BATTLE! HO! HO! Shields held high! Let the war drums roll! THE LORD IS WITH US! FORWARD WE GO! [Clan] JESUS IS THE LORD! JESUS IS THE LORD!
