(me) Jesus? Are you there? I’m sitting here with a chest full of questions, and a mind that won’t stop racing. I look at my life, my mistakes, my hidden flaws, and I just have to ask... Why are you so sure I’m good enough? (Jesus) My child, I don’t look at you through the lens of your performance. I look at you through the lens of my production. You keep trying to measure a worth that I already finalized. You ask why I’m sure you’re good enough? Because I am the one who designed you, and I don't make mistakes. Your value isn’t earned; it’s inherent because you belong to me. (me) But it doesn't feel that way. When I think about the cross, about the pain, about the sacrifice... Why did you do all of that for me? I’m just one person in a massive, broken world. Why look at me and choose the nails? (me) Because love doesn’t count the cost when it’s rescuing its treasure. You see a broken sinner; I saw a child I refused to spend eternity without. I didn't just die for the crowd; I died for your name. Every drop of blood was a signature on a love letter written directly to your heart. I did it because you are worth everything to me. (me) (Voice dropping lower, filled with vulnerability) Am I really worthy, though? If people knew the thoughts I fight, the doubts I harbor, the times I’ve promised to do better only to fall right back down... How can a holy God call me worthy? (Jesus) You are confusing your worth with your cleanliness. You are worthy not because of what you’ve done right, but because of who bought you. A diamond covered in mud doesn't lose its value; it just needs the master’s touch. I don't call you worthy because you are perfect. I call you worthy because you are mine, and I have already washed you clean. (me) (A deep breath, voice trembling slightly) Then tell me straight... am I going to make it? The road ahead looks so dark, and my strength is running on empty. I’m scared I’m going to fail. I’m scared I’m going to drown. (Jesus) (The music swells gently, warm and reassuring) Look at my hands, and look at my side. The battle has already been won. You are worried about the finish line, but I am already standing there waiting for you. You don’t have to cross it in your own strength. When you can't walk, I will carry you. When you want to quit, my grace will hold you. Are you going to make it? Yes. Because your future isn't resting in your grip—it's secured in mine. (me) (A soft, relieved sigh) Thank you. I'm listening.
