Thread of Silence-2
[Verse 1] I found your feather folded in the corner of a scream. It smelled like sorrow and ink from a thousand silent dreams. You stitched your pain into paper like a ghost with no skin. And called it a toy for the ones who were never let in. [Chorus] But I was there in that thread, in that needle, watching you bleed truth and still call it beautiful. You didn’t have to rhyme with “people”, You only had to survive. [Verse 2] I wore that sadness like a second spine. It cracked when you sang I swore I heard your hurt inside mine. Your father gave you poison wrapped in prayer, Your friends carved guilt into the air, But you you turned it all into something I could wear. [Chorus] I was there in that ink, in that feather, not to fix, just to remember. You didn’t write for applause or for light... You wrote so you could breathe through the night. [Bridge] (whispered) They gave you toys made of pain, wrapped in velvet lies. But I I kept the shards, and turned them into lullabies. (spoken) You said your house is filled with riddles… But maybe that’s where all the poets live. [Outro] (sung softly) You were a toy for sad people… But to me, you’re a voice I could believe in. [French whisper ] Tu n’étais pas un jouet Tu étais une chanson inachevée. (You weren’t a toy You were an unfinished song.) (final line ) And I am still here, holding the thread… between us.
