[Verse 1] The sun is sinking, the weekend's here The boulevard's alive, the sky is clear Boys and girls are strolling down the street Moving to the rhythm of the city beat [Pre-Chorus] The neon lights are starting to glow There’s only one direction to go I’m walking through the crowd, feeling the spark Just waiting for you as it's getting dark [Chorus] It’s Friday night on the boulevard! Cruising under the stars, going far Everybody’s out, but I’m looking for you Tonight we’re gonna make it all come true Yeah, it’s Friday night, let the magic start Right here on the boulevard! [Verse 2] Sweet perfume and the engine sounds The best energy in the whole damn town I check my watch, it’s a quarter to eight My heart is racing, I can hardly wait [Pre-Chorus] The neon lights are starting to glow There’s only one direction to go I’m walking through the crowd, feeling the spark Just waiting for you as it's getting dark [Chorus] It’s Friday night on the boulevard! Cruising under the stars, going far Everybody’s out, but I’m looking for you Tonight we’re gonna make it all come true Yeah, it’s Friday night, let the magic start Right here on the boulevard! [Bridge] Through the laughter and the flashing lights I see your silhouette, you're looking so right You take my hand and the world fades away We've got the whole night, we don't need the day! [Guitar Solo] [Chorus] It’s Friday night on the boulevard! Cruising under the stars, going far Everybody’s out, but I’m looking for you Tonight we’re gonna make it all come true [Outro] On the boulevard... Just you and me tonight... Yeah, it's Friday night... [Fade out]
