Be sure to check out 'TEDxBorrowdale' as well! ------------------------------------------------------------- Do you truly see, the ones who came before? Do you hear their voices, echoing through the door? They walked this path, so we could stand, Gave us love with their own hands. They taught us how to live and grow, Now it's our turn to let them know. "Keigo" means to guard with grace, With love and honor, we embrace. But the world forgets, turns away, Leaves them fading, day by day. Can we stop and change the tide? Let them know they shine inside. Say thank you with a smile, Let them know they’re worth the while. Every word, every touch, Can mean so much, can heal so much. If we stand with love and care, We can show them we are there. Keigo starts with me and you, A world of kindness shining through. Once they held us, safe and strong, Now they need us, don’t wait too long. Their hands once shaped the life we know, Now it’s time for love to grow. Call their names, look in their eyes, See their dreams, don’t let them die. A gentle word, a helping hand, Can build a world where love will stand. Say thank you with a smile, Let them know they’re worth the while. Every word, every touch, Can mean so much, can heal so much. If we stand with love and care, We can show them we are there. Keigo starts with me and you, A world of kindness shining through. No more silence, no more pain, Let respect and love remain. Keigo starts with what we do, And it all begins with me and you.
