I thank You, Lord, for blessings that You gave me long ago. I thank You, Lord, for all Your works that I don’t even know. I thank You, Lord, for goodness You have poured over my life, And Your conviction on my heart through many times of strife. I thank You for eternal life that I do not deserve. I thank You, Lord, for giving me so many ways to serve, For every single victory and wisdom to do right, For Your peace and Holy presence that has carried me at night, For all Your tender mercies when all my strength was gone, For courage and the strength to rise and to keep pressing on. I thank You, Lord, for blessings that I cannot conceive, I thank You, Lord, for blessings that I haven’t yet received. My life is overflowing with Your blessings from above, But most of all, I thank You, Lord, for Your eternal love.
