[Verse 1] I bought it on a Tuesday Box split at the seam The zipper stuck on day one Like it had a mean streak You said it was a masterpiece I said let me see Now it's sitting on my table With the receipt and me [Pre-Chorus] I'm not angry I'm just done Had my hopes up Now they're gone [Chorus] Star rating, star rating I’ll tell the truth tonight Star rating, star rating You were half all right (half all right) I wrote it down, I wrote it down So nobody gets burned Star rating, star rating That’s what I learned [Verse 2] The driver rang my bell late Left it in the rain The bag was kind of soggy But I kept it anyway I gave you every chance I tried to be kind But if I stay quiet now Then I’m part of the lie [Pre-Chorus] I'm not angry I'm just done Had my hopes up Now they're gone [Chorus] Star rating, star rating I’ll tell the truth tonight Star rating, star rating You were half all right (half all right) I wrote it down, I wrote it down So nobody gets burned Star rating, star rating That’s what I learned [Bridge] Maybe next time You’ll get it right Maybe next time You’ll meet the price One good thing One bad one too That’s the only fair Thing left to do [Final Chorus] Star rating, star rating I’ll tell the truth tonight Star rating, star rating You were half all right (half all right) I wrote it down, I wrote it down So nobody gets burned Star rating, star rating That’s what I learned
