V5.5

[INTRO — spoken, disgusted] You really think that's strength? Nah. Strong men handle their own shit. They don't hand it to somebody smaller and tell 'em to carry it. [VERSE 1] Look at you, big man, look at the moves you make, Can't get through to her, so you find another way. Can't control the room, can't control what she decides, So you pull somebody innocent into choosing sides. That's weak. Not angry. Not hurt. Not misunderstood. Weak. 'Cause a man stands on his own when the shit gets rough, He don't find smaller shoulders when his ain't strong enough. You wanna hurt her? At least admit what this is. You found the one place you knew she couldn't just dismiss. Then put your weight there. Yeah, congratulations, man. Must make you feel enormous when you're towering over little hands. [HOOK] THAT AIN'T POWER. That's weakness dressed loud. That's a scared little man trying to make himself proud. Can't reach her anymore, so you work your way around. If you gotta use the innocent just to tear somebody down You ain't strong. You ain't tough. You just showed everybody you weren't man enough. [VERSE 2] What's the matter? She stopped reacting like before? Stopped giving you the satisfaction you were looking for? So now you need a messenger? Need another route? Need somebody else involved 'cause she learned to shut you out? Man, that's embarrassing. Seriously. You want respect while you're moving like this? Putting grown-man bitterness where it doesn't belong, Then pretending you're the victim when somebody calls it wrong. Nah. Carry your own anger. Carry your own pain. Carry every ounce of bitterness attached to your name. Don't hand somebody else the weight of your divorce Then act like you're a father when you're using them for force. [VERSE 3 — beat gets darker] And here's what really gets me You know better. That's why I got no sympathy for the whole "I'm hurt" gesture. Everybody hurts. Everybody gets mad. Everybody's had something they loved that they couldn't have back. But grown men don't make somebody smaller pay the bill. Grown men don't weaponize love because they can't control how they feel. You wanna know what strength is? Taking the loss. Keeping your mouth shut when your anger wants a cost. Putting their peace above getting your shot. Being a fucking adult even when she is not Coming Back. Yeah. There it is. That's what you can't stand. She made a choice that doesn't belong in your hands. So you're grabbing every string you can still get ahold of, And every single one you pull just makes you look smaller. [BEAT CUT] Smaller. Funny, isn't it? You spent all this time trying to make her feel small. Look at you now. [FINAL VERSE — cold, controlled] I don't think you're intimidating. I think you're afraid. I don't think you're powerful. I think power slipped away. I don't see some mastermind playing some brilliant game. I see somebody losing control and looking for someone to blame. And the lowest part? You had a choice. You could've kept adult problems with an adult voice. Instead you put weight where weight never belonged. Then mistook their involvement for proof that you were strong. So nah I don't hate you because I fear you. I look at what you're doing and suddenly see you clear. All that noise. All that anger. All that desperate control. And underneath every bit of it? A weak man who couldn't carry his own load. [FINAL HOOK] THAT AIN'T POWER. Say it louder now. If you need somebody smaller just to make yourself feel proud THAT AIN'T STRENGTH. THAT AIN'T LOVE. And whatever name you give it won't make it enough. You wanted her smaller. You wanted control. But when you couldn't have either— you showed us all who was really small.
