[Instrumental] 反証可能性のない主張ばかりを 正しさと呼んで 生きてきた 疑うという行為さえ 証明済みの手順に還元してきた 偏差値は再現性のある指標で 心はそうじゃないと 知っているのに 測れないものを 測ろうとして 測れる自分を 演じ続けている 知性とは 何を証明するための 道具だったのか 思い出せない 公理から始めたはずの人生に いつのまにか 仮説すら残っていない 正しさは検証されるものであって 信仰する対象じゃなかったはずなのに 賢さを演じる技術だけが 私の中で肥大していく 幼い頃は あらゆる前提を 疑うことが 得意だったのに いつからか 前提を疑うより 前提の中で 上手く立ち回ることを覚えた 知性とは 何を証明するための 道具だったのか 思い出せない 公理から始めたはずの人生に いつのまにか 仮説すら残っていない 正しさは検証されるものであって 信仰する対象じゃなかったはずなのに 賢さを演じる技術だけが 私の中で肥大していく 解らないという状態に 耐えられる知性を 持てなかった 不確実性を 排除することと 思考することを 混同していたんだと思う 証明できないことを 抱えたまま それでも歩けることこそ 知性なんじゃないかと 今 初めて 仮説を立てている 反証されても かまわない これは まだ検証中の「私」自身の話だから...。 [ English ] I called every claim I couldn't falsify “Truth” and built my life around it Even the act of doubt itself I reduced to steps already proven I knew deviation scores were measurable And the heart was never that simple Still I kept trying to measure what can't be measured And played the part of someone who could What was intelligence ever meant to prove? I've forgotten what it was for A life I thought I'd built from axioms Somehow has no hypotheses left Truth was meant to be tested, Not something to believe in Yet the skill of pretending to be clever Keeps growing inside of me When I was young, I was good at questioning Every premise I was given But somewhere along the way I learned to play the game inside the premise Instead of questioning it What was intelligence ever meant to prove?
