The night feels long The road is worn We’ve carried burdens Through the storm Our hands are weak Our hearts are tired Yet still we lift our eyes higher The world is shaking Faith is tested The lonely cry The lost are restless But through the dark One hope remains Your promise burning Through the flames We are barely holding on Still we praise You through the dawn Every breath becomes a prayer Jesus meet us here Come Jesus come We are waiting for Your kingdom We need You we want You Our hearts are crying out for You Come Jesus come Let Your glory fill the heavens We are watching we are ready Come and take us home forever We’ve seen the sorrow Felt the pain Watched the tears Fall down like rain We’ve walked through Valleys cold and deep Held on to promises we keep When every strength Has disappeared Your quiet voice Is all we hear You are the Shepherd Of our souls The only One Who makes us whole We are barely holding on Still we praise You throughthe dawn Every breath becomes a prayer Jesus meet us here Come Jesus come We are waiting for Your kingdom We need You we want You Our hearts are crying out for You Come Jesus come Let Your glory fill the heavens We are watching, we are ready Come and take us home forever Maranatha hear our cry Bride awakening lamps held high Though our tears may veil our sight We will keep the flame alight Not by power not by pride Only grace will be our guide If You tarry we will stay If You call we’ll rise away Jesus we need You Jesus we seek You Jesus our hearts belong to You Jesus come near us Jesus now hear us Our deepest longing is for You Come Jesus come We are waiting for Your kingdom We need You we want You Our hearts are crying out for You Come Jesus come Let Your glory fill the heavens We are watching we are ready Come and take us home forever Until the trumpet fills the sky Until the King comes riding by We’ll lift our voices we’ll overcome Jesus Jesus come We are barely holding on But Your mercy keeps us strong Our hope is fixed On what You’ve done Jesus come Jesus come
