(To the tune of a bluesy folk ballad, inspired by the harsh deserts of Arrakis and the game’s highs and lows) Verse 1: I landed on Arrakiss, with spice in my dreams, Sandworms and sunstorms, it ain’t what it seems. The servers were crashin’, my progress was gone, Singin’ the Dune Awakening blues, all night long. Oh, press F to drink my own piss, it’s true, This desert’s a killer, but the vibe’s kinda cool. Chorus: Oh, Dune Awakening, you’re a love-hate affair, With sand in my boots and bugs in the air. From “Mostly Negative” to “Positive” cheers, You broke my heart, but I’ll play for years. Verse 2: The first twenty hours, man, the world felt alive, Dodgin’ those sandworms, just tryin’ to survive. But then it got grindy, the loop wore me thin, Base-buildin’ boxes, where’s the Dune epic win? My ornithopter’s crashin’, griefers laughin’ at me, Baitin’ worms to my camp, oh, the PvP glee! Chorus: Oh, Dune Awakening, you’re a love-hate affair, With sand in my boots and bugs in the air. From “Mostly Negative” to “Positive” cheers, You broke my heart, but I’ll play for years. Verse 3: Combat’s all janky, shields block my best shot, Melee’s a mess, animations forgot. But the lore’s so deep, it’s a sci-fi delight, No Paul Atreides, I’m the star of this fight. “Dune, but it’s Dunc,” I laugh through the pain, Chiptune on the radio, drivin’ me insane. Bridge: I grapple to the sky, then fall to the sand, NPCs so dumb, they don’t understand. Servers on phones, or so it seems, Yet I’m still chasin’ those Arrakiss dreams. “Live out my fantasy,” I shout with a grin, Gettin’ chomped by a worm, let the fun begin! Chorus: Oh, Dune Awakening, you’re a love-hate affair, With sand in my boots and bugs in the air. From “Mostly Negative” to “Positive” cheers, You broke my heart, but I’ll play for years. Outro: So here’s to the spice, and the dunes that we roam, Funcom, keep patchin’, make this desert a home. I’ll dodge those sandworms, sip my stillsuit’s brew, Singin’ the Dune Awakening blues, ‘til my dreams come true. Your Suspensor Belt is now Broken!
