White lights blink out of sync, The metal veins shine under glass air. Someone left a trace on the seat It loops… then slips away. Your outline disappear between the frames, Each one slightly misaligned. Advertisements slide into unknown shapes, And I keep moving through the line. I’m caught inside a split reflection One side fades, the other rewinds. The tunnels emit synthetic light, And I forget which pulse is mine. Escalators climb both ways at once, Digits repeat and drift apart. The map folds in a glassy loop, Every stop feels slightly wrong. The lines stretch into faceless shapes, People smear into outlines of code. My breath cuts through a broken tone, And the tunnel forgets its end. (yeah-ahh-uhh…) The noise sings me through, One more frame dissolves inside. Then all sound folds inward And the system halts. (yeah-ahh-uhh…) (yeah-ahh-uhh…) (yeah-ahh-uhh…) I wake standing still, But the train keeps on repeating. (yeah-ahh-uhh…)
