There you are! I needed to ask you a favor. I have an acquaintance called Mr. Pokémon. He keeps finding weird things and raving about his discoveries. Hm? Oh my name, why it's Professor Elm! Have you forgotten about me already? Oh I see, you're new to the Johto region aren't you? Well fear not! I'll introduce you to this wonderful land filled with Gold and Silver! [Verse] Walk with me into my lab Choose a starter, fire, water or grass Here's a Poke Ball for you Find Mr.Pokemon please, thanks dude! What is this world all about? Soon you'll see, without a doubt From Johto to Kanto hearts so true A whole new adventure is waiting for you! [Chorus] From gym to gym our journey's begun Adventures await until the battles are won Heart full of dreams and a plan so wise You're ready to start your Journey with your head held high! [Verse 2] Trainer tips scribbled on my new Pokédex Elm said kid this will help avoid wrecks Stay close to your friends be brave and be bold In this world of Pokémon stories untold [Chorus] From gym to gym our journey's begun Adventures await until the battles are won Heart full of dreams and a plan so wise You're ready to start your Journey with your head held high! [Bridge] Through forests and caves lies the path that's true With my Pokémon pals we know what to do Trust in the bond we've built along the way Together we'll shine brighter every day [Chorus] From gym to gym our journey's begun Adventures await until the battles are won Heart full of dreams and a plan so wise You're ready to start your Journey with your head held high! Whew, thanks for running that errand for me...actually I think a thief stole one of my Pokemon...oh well, what can you do? [Silly instrumental outro]
