Not sure what there is to say They thought the PGA Tour would just go away But it just doesn’t work that way Players didn’t see it that way They wanted to stay and play And add to their resume They knew this thing was about a big pay day So what’s happening? Everything has gotten pretty challenging Things over there are dismantling Everyone now is scrambling Things are caving in and they’re cancelling It’s safe to say There’s no denying won’t be any compromising game didn’t need some new uprising Now it looks to be downsizing Liv golf is going away I sure hope it stays that way Still trying to make a go of it all everyone knew it was destined to fall Proud of the players who just said no That honeymoon is over, it’s time to go Said it was a new day A new way to play And a bunch of other “blah blah” they would say. To justify why they went to play How about I just wanted to get the big pay day? Growing the game was the claim Which was really lame What? Are you serious? It was way too mysterious People weren’t too curious But it made many in the game furious Liv golf is going away Let’s all hope that it stays that way Still trying to make a go of it all everyone knew it was destined to fall Proud of those guys that just said no That honeymoon is over, it’s time to go There was so much scheming and dreaming Expected everyone to be leaving It was so misleading Count me as someone who wasn’t believing Never thought this would work It had way too many quirks Shotgun starts, loud music and shorts What’s next? Take off your shirts? This thing came at us hard and fast anyone with a brain knew it wouldn’t last Guys said it was a blast They sure lined up a great cast But failed to mention it was about the cash Liv golf is going away Let’s all hope that it stays that way Still trying to make a go of it all Everyone knew it was destined to fall Proud of the guys that just said no That honeymoon is over, it’s time to go. Gonna spend more time with the family Are you kidding me? You’re gonna have to travel the world What? You got sights to see? Gotta bend the knee Ain’t fooling nobody Making that money ain’t so bad But please forgive me if I ain’t glad That you wanna come back and tee it again What? Forgive and forget and just dive right in? Ya gotta pay a fine, spend some time Gotta start over at the back of the line You went away and got paid It’s time once again to make the grade LIV golf is going away Sure hope it stays that way Check back in some other day Probably won’t see a replay Sky’s over there are turning gray
