The Architect of the Quantum Ballroom

V4.5-ALL

The Architect of the Quantum Ballroom (The silence is shattered by a sudden, violent swell of cellos, low and mournful, climbing into a frantic, dissonant rising scale. The violins shriek in a high-pitched, tremolo vibrato. A massive gong strike echoes into a void, followed by a double-kick drum rhythm that mimics a frantic heartbeat.) [Intro]: (Orchestral/Gothic Metal, Minor key arpeggios, haunting and regal) [Verse 1] In the hollow cathedrals of the subatomic dark Where the quarks dance blindly in a cold, electric arc I lay the foundations with a thread of woven light To hold the collapsing stars against the coming night. The floorboards are liquid, the walls are made of time I build the dizzying rhythm of a universal rhyme No floor is solid, and no ceiling is fixed Where the ghosts of the future and the past are intermixed. [Pre-Chorus] (Choir swells – voices rising in a dissonant, operatic crescendo) O, Architectus! The particles collide! O, Architectus! There is nowhere left to hide! [Chorus] (Heavy, down-tuned guitars enter with sweeping, epic orchestration) Welcome to the Ballroom of the Quivering Veils! Where the logic of the living shatters and fails! I am the gear and the ghost in the clockwork machine We are waltzing on the edge of the space in between! Spinning in the entropy, burning in the cold The story of the universe, elegantly told! [Violin solo]: (fast, expressive, virtuosic, bleeding into a guttural growl) [Verse 2] (The music drops to a solemn, pulsing cello bassline) Step through the threshold where the shadow splits in two I’ve curved the geometry to make a place for you. Observe the entanglement, the tethered, silk-spun hands Of lovers lost in orbits in these shifting, spectral lands. I measure the distance between a dream and a breath I plot the trajectory of life and of death With a compass of silver and an inkwell of void Look at the beauty of the atoms I’ve destroyed! [Bridge] (The choir erupts, chant-like, powerful and thundering) Non est finis! (There is no end!) Fracta est veritas! (The truth is shattered!) In tenebris sonat! (It rings in the darkness!) The ballroom is breathing! The ballroom is rising! (A chaotic orchestral break—cymbals crashing, brass sections wailing in a triumphant, apocalyptic march) [Guitar Solo]: (High-pitched, weeping, melodic, over a wall of symphonic sound) [Outro] (The music slows to a singular, heartbeat-like cello rhythm) The music is fading, but the particles remain Locked in the architecture of this elegant pain. One final rotation… One final spark… (The choir sustains a massive, earth-shaking chord) I am the Architect. (Whispered, chilling) And the floor is falling… into the dark. (Sudden, absolute silence.)
