[Verse] We gather here beneath the moon Feet pounding earth like a sacred tune The fire speaks The stars align Our voices rise It’s a holy sign [Chorus] Oh shield of the sky Protect us tonight Oh shield of the sky Guide us with light Shield us Shield us Hear our cry Oh shield of the sky Oh shield of the sky [Verse 2] The drumbeats echo through the trees Whispers carried on the evening breeze Hands held high We call your name Through the chaos Through the flame [Prechorus] Lift us higher Break the chain Wash our fear in the falling rain [Chorus] Oh shield of the sky Protect us tonight Oh shield of the sky Guide us with light Shield us Shield us Hear our cry Oh shield of the sky Oh shield of the sky [Bridge] We pray with the rhythm The rhythm of life We dance with the thunder The drum and the strife The earth is our altar The stars are our guide We call to the heavens To stand by our side
