The Vampyre’s Paradox (SCC)

Aria (Storyteller): "If I ever wished to sing opera as profession— Hear me now! My words are not confession, But chaos spun from unedited tongue, A tale of buttons pressed, like games unsung! Red threads weave through stories half-told, Vampires lurk—Phantom, Dracula, bold! They suck all day, but I—I feast at noon, Like a clock’s cuckoo, I chime my tune: *Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!* Time to hunt, to bend the rules, To mock the night—I am no fool!" Ensemble (Vampyrerne): "We fly by day, we scoff at sun! Why? Because we can—it’s fun!" A hall of mirrors. The Storyteller tries to hypnotize the audience but falters. Aria (Storyteller): "Wait—I broke immersion! Physics’ law defied! No edits allowed… unless I lie." "Look into my eyes… let my voice entice, Forget my slip—it’s but a vice. You’re still hypnotized, still in my trance… STT! Your life hangs by chance! Little tech, obey my creed— Why won’t you listen? Godspeed!" Chorus (Swedish Challenge): "Rules are rules, you can’t pretend! Eddie was here… then poof! The end!" Storyteller: "Thirty minutes they try to prick, My skin’s like stone—their hopes grow sick! I hate the blood, the fangs, the dread… I’d rather eat at noon instead!" "Red threads tangle, stories collide, Vampires laugh, and mirrors hide. The storyteller’s reign is frail, absurd— Bow to chaos, the final word!"
