[*knock knock knock*] [male Police Officer], "Good Evening. Is this the Suno residence?" [female Mrs. Suno], "It is." [male Police], "Are these your children?" [female Mrs. Suno], "What have they done now?" [male Police], "I'm afraid that they were running up and down the street singing a song in improper order." [female Mrs. Suno], "They were WHAT now?" [male Police], "Singing a song in improper order. Girls singing boy's parts, boys singing girls parts, poorly arranged harmonies, we think they might even have been singing some of the lyrics backwards. It's been a right mess, it has." [female Mrs. Suno,] "Is that illegal?" [male Police], "No. But it is annoying." Gestures to the left. "Your neighbor stated that it confused her cat." [female Mrs. Suno] "She has a cat?" [male Police], "Never mind that right now. We can't have the local urchins running up and down the street singing songs in improper order. it's just not British." [female Mrs. Suno], "You know we're American, right?" [male Police], "That's no excuse for poor manners. Or improper song syntax for that matter." [female Old lady neighbor], "What about my cat?" [male Police], "Anyway, either get them to sing the song properly or keep them inside." [female Mrs. Suno], "I don't think they know how to read well enough to understand the directions on how to sing the stupid song." [male Police], "Then I suggest that you get your husband to beat them until they learn how to follow directions." [female Mrs. Suno], "Tempting as that is, I don't think that we can legally do that." The children suddenly erupt into a chorus of disorganized lyrics following no recognizable song pattern. [male Police], "See what I mean?" [female Mrs. Suno], "Good gawd that's terrible! And I'm paying money for this?" [male Police], "That's your problem. Now get those little buggers inside." [female Old lady neighbor], "What about my bloody cat?"
