The LORD is my shepherd—no need shall I fear, In pastures of green, He brings me near. Beside still waters, He gives me rest, He restores my soul; my heart is blessed. He leads me in paths of righteousness’ way, For the sake of His name, I will not stray. Though I walk through the valley, death’s shadow near, I will not tremble—for You are here. Your rod and staff—they comfort me still, You spread a table on Zion’s hill. In front of my foes, You anoint my head, My cup overflows, with joy I’m fed. Surely Your goodness, mercy untold, Will follow me gently as I grow old. And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD, Forever embraced, forever restored.
