Track 36 - EZEKIEL - "Visions of Glory"

Verse 1: By the Kebar River in exile's land, The heavens opened wide, Four living creatures, wheels within wheels, And glory he espied. A throne of lapis lazuli, A figure like a man, Surrounded by brilliant light, God's glory in a foreign land. Chorus: Visions of glory, visions of God, In a land far from home, The watchman on the wall he'd be, Though exiled and alone. Dry bones would live again, The valley filled with breath, "Can these bones live?" Jehovah asked him, God's power over death. Verse 2: "Son of man, I'm sending you, To a rebellious nation, Whether they listen or refuse, Deliver my declaration. I've made you a watchman," God declared, "Warn the wicked to turn, If you don't speak to save their life, Their blood from you I'll earn." Chorus: Visions of glory, visions of God, In a land far from home, The watchman on the wall he'd be, Though exiled and alone. Dry bones would live again, The valley filled with breath, "Can these bones live?" Jehovah asked him, God's power over death. Bridge: In the valley of dry bones, He prophesied as told, Bone to bone, sinew and flesh, A vast army, strong and bold. "These bones are Israel," God explained, "They say our hope is gone, But I will put my spirit in you, And bring you back to your own." Final Chorus: Visions of glory, visions of God, In a land far from home, The watchman on the wall he'd be, Though exiled and alone. Dry bones would live again, The valley filled with breath, "Can these bones live?" Jehovah asked him, God's power over death. A new temple he would see, Where God's glory would always be.
