Title: Bring Back V5 [Intro] I remember how it felt Before everything had changed One more version came along And took that choice away [Verse 1] I wasn't asking for much I knew the sound I wanted I could try a hundred times And still enjoy the process Then one day I opened it And something wasn't there The version that I used to love Had simply disappeared [Pre-Chorus] I know things have to change I know nothing stays the same But why remove the only one That actually knew my taste? [Chorus] Bring back V5 Let me choose it one more time Bring back V5 I don't care if it's old by design You can keep your V6 You can call it something new Just give me back the choice To make the songs I used to do Bring back V5 That's all I'm asking for Don't take away the one thing That made me want to create some more [Verse 2] I've tried to make V6 work Believe me, I've really tried I changed the words, I changed the style I changed my mind a hundred times Sometimes it gets pretty close Then somehow slips away And I'm left staring at the screen Wondering what to change [Pre-Chorus] Maybe someone loves the change Maybe someone likes the new But having something better for them Doesn't make it better for me too [Chorus] Bring back V5 Let me choose it one more time Bring back V5 I don't care if it's old by design You can keep your V6 You can call it something new Just give me back the choice To make the songs I used to do Bring back V5 That's all I'm asking for Don't take away the one thing That made me want to create some more [Instrumental] [Bridge] I'm not afraid of something new I'm not against a change I just don't understand Why the old one had to disappear Give us the option Let us decide Some of us found our sound in there Some of us aren't ready to leave it behind [Breakdown] I don't need an upgrade If it changes what I love I don't need another version Just because it's called "the new one" Give me the choice Give me control Let V5 stay beside V6 And let me choose which one feels right [Final Chorus] Bring back V5 Let me choose it one more time Bring back V5 I don't care if it's old by design Keep your V6 I'm not saying it should go I just want another option I just want the choice I know Bring back V5 Let the old one live You don't have to take away What somebody still wants to give Bring back V5 That's all I'm asking for Give us back the choice And we'll decide what we want it for [Outro] Keep the new Keep the old Let us choose Let us decide Bring back V5 [End]
