Separate Orbits - Part 1: Ilyr

After an eclipse lasts thirteen seconds longer than it should, life on Ilyr begins to come apart in quiet, measurable ways. Records contradict memories, familiar places no longer fit their histories, and thousands of people connected to Ilyr Deep seem to be vanishing from more than the physical world. While forensic investigator Seya Orun searches for evidence that cannot be rewritten, several distant lives are drawn toward the same disturbance: an archivist whose presence affects unstable reality, a Directorate enforcer confronting the shadow of an old mission, an independent pilot following an impossible route, and a path warden who feels something awaken far beyond Ilyr. What begins as an investigation becomes a struggle to preserve names, memories, and the right of the missing to have existed at all.
