[Verse 1] When the world around you Feels wrapped in endless lies, When every road before you Is painted with fading skies, You see the broken faces, The tears behind their smiles, And your heart begins to wonder If cruelty will last forever’s while. You feel like you are trapped, Deep within the ocean’s veil, Like Prophet Yunus a.s. Inside the belly of the whale. A prison with no doorway, A darkness without end, An impossible escape From the trials you must defend. But trust in your Lord’s mercy, Hold patience in your soul, For Allah can turn the darkest night And make the broken whole. [Pre-Chorus] You look back and remember The home you long to see, But every test from Allah Carries wisdom you may not perceive. **[Chorus]** In the belly of the whale, Prophet Yunus a.s. remained, His tongue was never silent, As he glorified Allah’s name. In the darkness of the ocean, Where no sunlight could descend, The mercy of the Lord reached him, When all hope seemed at its end. The glory of Allah, The mercy of Ar-Rahman, With patience and with prayer, With zikir and submission, The Prophet rose from the depths By the will of the Most Compassionate One. [Verse 2] Even when the world around us Is filled with false displays, When hearts become corrupted And truth is pushed away, Some gather their deception, Some hide behind their schemes, Trying to cover every wrong With carefully crafted dreams. Many souls carry burdens From the words of those who lie, Through battles in their homes, Or wars beneath the sky. But remember Allah’s promise, The One who knows all things: Wrong may walk proudly for a while, But justice eventually brings. [Pre-Chorus] The hearts of the deceivers May refuse the light today, But Allah’s truth remains forever, No darkness can make it fade away. So do not lose your courage, Continue to call His name, Remember the helpless servant Whose destiny was changed. A man inside the whale, With nowhere else to turn, Found mercy through his repentance, And from Allah he returned. [Chorus] In the belly of the whale, Prophet Yunus a.s. remained, His tongue was never silent, As he glorified Allah’s name. [Bridge] Do not feel forgotten, Do not believe you are alone. Every hidden injustice Is already known. Every deed has its ending, Every soul will meet the truth, So keep your heart connected To the One who carries you through. [Final Chorus] In the belly of the whale, Prophet Yunus a.s. showed the way, That a heart holding onto Allah Will never truly stray. Through the darkest of the oceans, Through the trials we must face, Patience, prayer, and remembrance Can lead us back to grace. The glory of Allah, The mercy of Ar-Rahman, With zikir and with patience, With faith in His command, Even from the deepest darkness, Allah can make us rise again.
