Ex Pulvere Surge

Dark metal with an epic, measured pulse; pipe organ alone builds from low sustained tones to looming chords, beneath a male voice shifting between low spoken narration, whispered phrases, and restrained Latin chants; dark room tone under the voice, close and shadowed

A forbidden Latin rite of resurrection. The priest calls, commanding the dead to awaken, until the ritual reaches its final command: Rise! Terra tace. Sepulcrum audi. Mortui, somnum relinquite. Sub terra, sub ossibus, sub silentio aeterno— vos voco. Non per lucem, sed per umbram. Non per vitam, sed per nomen. Surge… surge… Ex pulvere surge. Aperite portas sepulcrorum. Frangite somnum. Audiat terra vocem meam. Mortui, exite. Mortui, surgite. Cinis ad carnem. Os ad os. Sanguis ad venam. Umbra ad corpus. Quod iacet—surgat. Quod tacet—respondeat. Quod mortuum est—redeat. Surge ex tumulo. Surge ex tenebris. Surge ad vocem meam. Portae aperiuntur. Sepulcra franguntur. Mortui audiunt. Surge. Surge. SURGE.
