I put a strawberry sticker on my shoe So every little step leaves something cute My lunchbox has a secret paper crown I wear it when the rain comes tumbling down You say, “Ready?” I say, “Not quite yet” One more button on my jacket set Then I turn around and grin at you Like a tiny parade just came through Pocket full of peachy-colored days Saving all the good ones just for you Fold a little wish and send it your way Catch it when it lands; it’s coming true Round and round, the happy bits go flying Every silly thing feels brand new Pocket full of peachy-colored days I made a little extra one for you The kitchen clock is wearing googly eyes It looks surprised each time the toast pops high I draw a tiny map across my hand The X marks where our secret clubhouse stands You say, “Ready?” I say, “Now I am” With a crayon plan and a jelly-jar jam Take my hand and count to two There’s a whole small world to show to you Pocket full of peachy-colored days Saving all the good ones just for you Fold a little wish and send it your way Catch it when it lands; it’s coming true Round and round, the happy bits go flying Every silly thing feels brand new Pocket full of peachy-colored days I made a little extra one for you If your day gets tangled like a ribbon I can help you find the end We’ll smooth it out with gentle fingers And tie a bow around it again Pocket full of peachy-colored days Saving all the good ones just for you Fold a little wish and send it your way Catch it when it lands; it’s coming true Round and round, the happy bits go flying Every silly thing feels brand new Pocket full of peachy-colored days I made a little extra one for you One for you, and one to spare Little peachy wishes everywhere
