Still Green, but Growing

**Verse 1:** (Avocado - Lead Vocals and Guitar) I’m just an Avocado, green in more ways than one, Life tossed me in the blender before I’d begun. Ripe with worries, my skin's not tough, In the salad of life, it’s been quite rough. (Blueberry - Bass and Backing Vocals) Hey Avocado, don't let life make you sour, In this fruity jam, you’ve got the power. Together we’ll peel away each doubt, Turn those pits into shouts! **Chorus:** (All) Still green, but growing, with every chord we strum, In this groovy fruit salad, together we become. From tart to sweet, from shy to scene, We’re mixing up a life, still green but keen. **Verse 2:** (Corn on the Cob - Keyboards) Corn’s here to pop some positivity your way, With every key I play, we’re making hay. Life’s a maze, but don’t you fret, With us, you’re the best guac yet! (Avocado) Squashed by fears, bruised but here, With my berry best buds, I've nothing to fear. Lime squeezing out the zest of life, Strumming through the strife. **Bridge:** (Blueberry - Groovy Bass Solo) Berry together, we jam and we riff, In the orchard of life, we’re the perfect tiff. No more melon-choly for our green friend, We’ll stick to the vine, thick-skinned to the end. **Chorus:** (All) Still green, but growing, with every chord we strum, In this groovy fruit salad, together we become. From tart to sweet, from shy to scene, We’re mixing up a life, still green but keen. **Outro:** (Avocado) So here’s to the seeds we’ve yet to show, Underneath it all, we’re ready to grow. Thanks to my fruits, I’m no longer unseen, Still green, sure, but now I’m living my dream. [extended 80’s synth solo] [end]
