[Verse 1] In a patch by the garden gate You came small and soft and green Little Bulbasaur in the rain Like a prayer I’d never seen Tiny feet on the red clay path Leafy crown in the light When I felt too weak to stand You were growing in my sight [Pre-Chorus] And I heard that simple truth In the hush between the rows God can put a seed in you Then make it bloom and grow [Chorus] Little green seed, keep growing Little green seed, keep growing Jesus made the rain come down Now look what love has found Little green seed, keep growing (keep growing) keep growing [Verse 2] When the wind came hard that day And my heart ran thin with fear You stood firm beside my shoes Like a promise drawing near Even small things lift their heads When the Savior calls their name He can turn a little life Into fire through the flame [Pre-Chorus] So I lift my hands and sing By the barn and by the creek The Lord can bless a humble thing And make the broken strong and meek [Chorus] Little green seed, keep growing Little green seed, keep growing Jesus made the rain come down Now look what love has found Little green seed, keep growing (keep growing) keep growing [Bridge] When my faith feels like the frost When my hope is buried deep You remind me life is born In the places we call weak So I’ll trust the Maker’s hand Through the storm and through the sun If He grows a Bulbasaur He can grow His work in us [Chorus] Little green seed, keep growing Little green seed, keep growing Jesus made the rain come down Now look what love has found Little green seed, keep growing (keep growing) keep growing [Outro] Amen on the back porch air Amen in the summer field Little green seed, keep growing Till Your kingdom is revealed
