[ERUDITION] - The Wisdom to Soar Against the Current of Ignorance

HOSI NO MAKIMONO Fifteenth Release: "[ERUDITION] - The Wisdom to Soar Against the Current of Ignorance" There are no lyrics for this song. Instead, I invite you to listen closely and share with me what kind of story it is able to paint for you with instruments alone. [ERUDITION] is the first in a series of five tracks leading up to the conclusion of this album. The beginning of the end, if you will. In contrast to some of the grand and wildly abstract pieces I've put together before, I would be happy if the tracks in this series are each able to convey their own small and concise exploration of the themes they represent. They also share a common musical element that I believe will become apparent as they progress. To seek deeper knowledge and understanding is the never-ending quest of the learned. This song seeks to portray said quest, and the transformation of one's perspective as they break through the boundaries of knowledge. A calm and rational mind is always ready to study and observe, even under the most tumultuous circumstances, as there is always something new to be gleaned. Diving into a sea of information, the layers of one's mind blossom and unfold, gradually becoming more receptive and perceptive. Even with countless revelations crashing against the shore of one's consciousness like a raging tide, one must never lose let their focus waver. Verily, at the end of this road lies the ultimate truth, the conclusive final answer, that enlightening spark that all curious minds hunger for. So it is said: "Never forsake your pursuits, for the fruit of knowledge is within reach of all who dare to strive." I hope that [ERUDITION] was able to convey this journey of curiosity and discovery to you, and bring you some small sliver of enjoyment in the process. Please stay tuned for future releases.
