[syncopated guitar riff]

[Verse 1]
Mankind has always been fascinated by the stars
Has dreamt of what must be out there
In Forty Two man set foot on Mars for the first time
An achievement in which many nations shared

[Verse 2]
And now the next advancement in space travel
A method to pierce the fabric of space
Scientist competing to complete a prototype
With the Americans leading the race

[Chorus]
Still driven by the need
To be the best they can
To bend physics to their will
To be the best of man

[Verse 3]
And then in the year of twenty forty nine
The first hyperspace craft was completed
It was christened Jupiter by it's chief creator
At Kennedy Space Centre it will be tested

[Verse 4]
Jupiter launched at 3 P M Eastern Seaboard time
Piloted by First Lieutenant Andy Fishwick
Set off on a course to the south of Bermuda
Rigorously testing the spacecrafts dynamics

[Chorus]
Still driven by the need
To be the best they can
To bend physics to their will
To be the best of man

[Spacey synthesizer solo]

[Syncoptated guitar riff]

[Melodic guitar solo]

[Spatial guitar solo]

[Chorus]
Still driven by the need
To be the best they can
To bend physics to their will
To be the best of man
Still driven by the need
To be the best they can
To bend physics to their will
To be the best of man

[Syncoptated guitar riff]

[Melodic guitar solo]

[Complex guitar solo]

[Syncopated Math Rock riff]

[Rhythm change]

[Verse 5]
All systems funtioning
within expected parameters
The orders arrive from command

To start the sequence
To engage the hyperdrive
Everything has gone as planned

[Verse 6]
As the drive powers up
The devices radiation
Triggers an effect on the ocean below

A strange light
coming from the depths
Envelopes the Jupiter pulling it below

[Spacey synthesizer solo]

[Syncoptated guitar riff]

[Melodic guitar solo]

[Outro]
Andy's final communication
never received by command
And no trace of Jupiter was ever found

The scientists pondered
Did the ship enter hyperspace prematurely?
Or did the device blow?

The real mystery
They would never know

[Spacey spatial guitar outro]

[Guitar riff matching chorus melody]

[Ending]
