----------------- INFO ----------------- My entry for the second round of the Soundry Challenge League. This time, we had to remix a song pretty much given at random, and I chose to spin a randomizer wheel for the genres used as well. Unlike last round, I got some genres that, uh.. I'm much less familiar with, honestly, kind of the opposite of what I tend to listen to, so that was interesting to work with, fans of the genre will have to tell me if this is any good or not haha. Also thank you to GRAVEIL for providing a really good song for me to remix! Please check them out here: https://suno.com/@graveil ------------------- LYRICS ------------------- You’re a slice of heaven and you're dripping in rum, A touch of the strings that I could never strum and, You’re the sugar that I crave but the aftertaste stings, and- Every single bite I take, I know I might lose Every single choice I make, reveals the ruse, and- 行く 行く 行く 行く 行く (私と一緒に飲みましょう) Lemon Pie, you're a lie in disguise Your sweetness hides the poison inside Let it die, I can't stop the taste A deadly temptation wrapped in grace! Everytime I partake in you, my judgment fails, Can't see it through, I- Every word comin' out the wrong way, Don't remember what I was trying to say, I- I drown in your sweetness, bitter as sin The taste is all I need to fall again A moment of joy, but then it’s gone Leaving me cold but, I’ll, keep, holding, on Lemon Pie, you're a lie in disguise Your sweetness hides the poison inside Let it die, I can't stop the taste A deadly temptation wrapped in grace! 行く 行く 行く 行く 行く (私と一緒に飲みましょう) I’ve bitten too deep now it's, in, my, veins Sweet satisfaction but it’s, all, in, vain Every chomp's a step back to where I need to be All past cries for help they go right past me So give me another slice of you, (again) I’ll feast on the poison if I have to, yeah, You’re the dream I can never see through, and I’ll keep chasing, oh, I’ll, keep, chasing, you! Lemon Pie, you're a lie in disguise (HEY!) Your sweetness hides the poison inside (HEY!) Let it die, I can't stop the taste A deadly temptation wrapped in grace!
