(Spoken from the throne of the Lamb – a prophetic lament in the voice of Jesus) [Verse 1 – The Streets of Minneapolis] I saw her fall in the winter snow, Dragged by the arm where the cold winds blow. She cried for breath, they turned away— You pinned her down on that bitter day. The stranger came from a distant shore, Fleeing the sword, seeking something more. But gates were locked, hearts turned to stone— You did not know you dragged My own. [Chorus – The Heart of the Judge] I was the stranger you turned away, The hungry child in the street that day. I was the widow, the fatherless— Whatever you did, you did to Me, no less. You touched My body when you bruised her skin, You mocked My blood with your fear and sin. But hear Me now, O kings of the earth: I am coming soon—repent or face My wrath's birth. [Verse 2 – The Poor Crushed Underfoot] You built your walls while the poor were ground, Trampled their rights till no hope was found. The orphan weeps, the immigrant flees— You sold your soul for security. You waved My Book but ignored My voice, Fed the rich wolves, left the sheep no choice. In every raid, in every chain, You crucified Me once again. [Chorus – The Roar of the Lion] I was the stranger you turned away, The broken one in your streets today. I felt the knee upon her chest— You did it unto Me; now face the test. The nations rage, the powerful boast, But I defend the weak the most. Woe to the shepherds who scatter My flock— Your towers will fall like Babylon's rock. [Bridge – The Mercy Still Offered] Yet even now, My arms are wide, I knock on doors where hate resides. Turn from your pride, open the gate— Welcome the least before it's too late. For I desire mercy, not your sacrifice cold, I long to heal what your fear has sold. Repent, My people, and loose the chain— Or judgment falls like fire and rain. [Final Chorus – The Promise of the Bridegroom] I was the stranger—I AM the King. Soon every knee will bow and sing. The proud will fall, the humble rise— I'll wipe the tears from weeping eyes. Come to Me now, you weary and worn, The dawn is breaking, the veil is torn. I will deliver, I will make all things new— For I am faithful, and I am coming for you. šŸ› ā€œInasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.ā€ – Matthew 25:40 āš–ļø ā€œLearn to do good; seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.ā€ – Isaiah 1:17 šŸ”„ ā€œLet the oppressed go free, and break every yoke.ā€ – Isaiah 58:6
