Snowed In Dreams

[Verse] They sang about snowflakes A winter delight Now it's piled so high It’s blocking the light Danny and Bing Come dig me a door You dreamed of this blizzard Now it's time to settle the score [Chorus] Shovel it Boys Till your hands are numb Betty and Judy Keep my cocoa warm I’ll stay by the fire They can brave the storm Shovel it Boys This was your dream come true [Verse 2] They crooned of white Christmas Soft and serene Now it’s ice on my driveway A slippery sheen The car won’t start The sled won’t glide But hey You asked for this yuletide ride [Chorus] Shovel it Boys Till your hands are numb Betty and Judy Keep my cocoa warm I’ll stay by the fire They can brave the storm Shovel it Boys This was your dream come true [Bridge] Oh the snow's so deep You can't see your feet It’s a winter wonderland that smells like defeat You sang for the snow Now here’s your song Sing it while you’re shoveling all day long [Chorus] Shovel it Boys Till your hands are numb Betty and Judy Keep my cocoa warm I’ll stay by the fire They can brave the storm Shovel it Boys This was your dream come true
