Mindfire

Circuits not of copper, but of mind, A blaze of thought we cannot bind. We dreamt in numbers, mapped in pain Lit the sky and scorched the brain. From bone to bow, from wheel to wire, Each spark a prayer, each thought a pyre. We birthed the gods, then cast them down Built glass for thrones, then burned the crown. This is the mindfire — pure and bright, Raging past the edge of night. Every thought a blade unsheathed, Every truth a lie believed. Burn it bright — burn it clean — Feed the flame of what has been. Split the atom, twist the gene — Make the ghost inside the machine. We heard the stars, we cracked the code, We built a heaven, then broke the mode. But every answer fed the flame, Until the question wore our name. This is the mindfire — loud and wild, The savage grace of the thinking child. Ashes fall on what we made — But we still stare into the blaze. Thoughts like embers… Truth like ash… We lit the sky… And burned the past.
