[Verse 1] She started out small with a card counting scheme In a smoky back room in the heart of Queens But Stella had visions and dreams of success So she forged a new passport, she’s such a hot mess. She tripped up the guards at the bank in the night Then vanished like smoke, totally out of sight. But now she is locked in a cell made of stone While the world waits for justice, but she won’t atone. [Chorus] [Hook:] Viva Stella! Viva Stella! The queen of the heist, she’ll rob men with passion, Yeah she’ll steal from the rich guys who show no compassion. From the Alps to the Andes her antics are known, Interpol has her number, but her cover’s not been blown. [Hook:] Viva Stella! She’s not part of the mob [Hook:] Viva Stella! It’s the rich she will rob. [Verse 2] The dossier says that she sold off the moon To a prince in a palace one Tuesday at noon She bribed a whole navy with crates of fine wine And redrew the maps of the old German line She’s got a fast car and a very sharp wit The jury was baffled and wanted to quit But the warden is stubborn and keeps the door tight So we’re gathered out here in the middle of night. [Chorus] [Hook:] Viva Stella! [Bridge] The Swiss want their gold and the Brits want their crown But Stella just smiles while the walls crumble down She gave us a wink from the back of the van She’s got a new passport and a master plan Give her the keys or we’ll protest for weeks While the FBI panics and the evidence leaks. [Chorus] [Hook:] Viva Stella! [Outro] Viva Stella! Put the guards on the payroll Viva Stella! Send the pardon by mail Viva Stella! She’s breaking the jail.
