V6

(Introduction) Through ages of fire and blood he passed, Beneath the skies that wept on broken lands, He watched the centuries changing their face, While human sins remained the same. (Verse 1) He saw great empires rising in the distance, And mighty thrones collapsing into dust, He saw brother turn his sword against brother, While hatred grew where fields were lost. (Pre-Chorus) And there, beyond the boundaries of time, He looked upon the world he once had known, And wondered if the depths of Hell could ever Be darker than the deeds of humankind. (Chorus) For Hell seemed like a child's forgotten game Beside a world consumed by hate and fire, And the Prince and Queen, beneath the endless night, Swore to defend the light that still remained. (Verse 2) He saw the atom, once revealed as power, Unleashed against the very breath of life, And Heaven trembled underneath the silence When man turned fire against his kind. (Pre-Chorus) Then after centuries of silent wonder, He understood what mortal hearts could hide: That Hell may live not only in the flames, But in the hearts where hatred has survived. (Chorus) For Hell seemed like a child's forgotten game Beside a world consumed by hate and fire, And the Prince and Queen, beneath the endless night, Swore to defend the light that still remained. (Drop) Let darkness fall upon the lies of men! Let hatred perish from the living heart! From ancient night they rise together again, To guard the world and keep its light alive! (Ending) The Prince looks on, the Queen remains beside him, Above a world that still refuses to die, And if love can save this wounded planet, They'll fight for good until the final age.
